April Favorites
This month I wanted to share with you all some of my recent favorite items. All of these items are under $100, and everything besides the glasses are under $50 (!!!) Better yet, two of these items can be purchased on Amazon (that 2-day shipping though…).
1. This ring is probably one of my favorite jewelry items I own. It was given to me by a friend and it has a special meaning to me as my three best friends from high school and I wear it every single day as a reminder of our friendship. I have had it for over a year now and I wear it every day, even in the shower, and it has not tarnished whatsoever. For $40, I’d say that’s a win!
2. If you wear glasses or contacts and you haven’t tried on Warby Parker glasses, I highly recommend you visit a store or do the at-home try-on option. Warby Parker offers the trendiest glasses for just $95 (!!!!) a pair. I chose the Anders frame in the River Stone Fade finish. I cannot imagine life before these glasses because they are really that amazing. I never thought that I could pull them off but I love the way they look and always receive compliments when I wear them!
3. So I don’t own these particular wedges, but I have been experiencing a “flatform” obsession. I purchased a similar pair from gojane.com about a month ago and have definitely worn them every weekend since. They are incredibly comfortable and affordable. Plus, they go with everything! I love how they add a little bit of height without distracting from your outfit. I’m not going to lie, when I purchased my first pair from gojane I was a little skeptical given the low prices. However, they make the comfiest shoes in the trendiest styles for such low prices. Now I’m considering buying another pair!
4. GUYS…I bought this bikini for my recent trip to Puerto Rico and needless to say, I am obsessed! Weirdly, I bought it on Amazon. I was looking at cheaper bathing suit options like Zaful.com and Cupshe.com and stumbled upon the same Cupshe bathing suits on Amazon. Because I was slightly skeptical about these “cheap” bathing suits, I decided to purchase from Amazon Prime, knowing I would have free shipping and free returns. Now, I won’t lie to you and say I had the perfect buying experience. When I received my package, I opened it to find this ugly one piece that was not remotely what I ordered. I sent the package back and after I received a refund, I re-purchased the bathing suit, Luckily, when it arrived in two short days, it was exactly as I ordered. Not only was the fabric better quality than I expected, but the colors were vibrant and the print was beautiful. I will definitely be ordering more bathing suits from Amazon!
5. Noticing a pattern? Palm trees are totally my aesthetic right now. I have debated ordering a Day Designer planner for a few years now. I am obsessed with my planner and always joke that if there were to be a fire, it would be the item I would save. Therefore, I justified my splurge on the Day Designer this year after trying out the Blue Sky x Day Designer collection for Target this past year and loving it. I was also surprised to find out that the smaller version of the planner was only $49. It arrived today and I am beyond excited to start planning!
6. Another strange Amazon purchase but a good one nonetheless! This adorable bell-sleeve top is perfect for looking trendy in the office. I purchased the top in white to get ready for my upcoming internship this summer. Now I’m considering purchasing the pink one because it is so darn cute! The top arrived exactly as pictured and the material was again, much better quality than I expected. The top is made of a stretchy but sturdy material that is flattering for any body type. I would highly recommend this top!
