Ahhh, fall. Pumpkin spice lattes, cozy throws, apple cider….all the fall things! Though I love those aspects of fall, I’ve always found myself to be a spring bloomer. It could be that I really am a spring bloomer (my birthday is in March) or that it’s just tough to go back to school after a fun summer.
This summer has been wonderful, but for once I’m ready to go back to school. I cannot believe this is my final year of college. Soon, I’ll be immersed in all things school, sorority, tailgating, and more! I’ll be traveling to Prague in October for an immersion trip for my Master’s degree (in international business). And, I’ll be finishing my Bachelor’s degree (in marketing) in December! It’s hard to believe how many exciting things are coming as we close in on the wrap up 2018.
With fall, of course, comes the fall wardrobe. This is where my fall struggle really kicks in. As a native Floridian, we don’t really have a fall. In fact, in the next few weeks, it will likely get even hotter. Our fall is more like November and December where temps reach the 60s on a good day.
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you’ll notice I tend to wear “summery” clothes all year round. Because, in Florida, we can! But, this year, I am trying to switch it up and incorporate more fall pieces into my wardrobe. Enter this look! I have been loooooooving this Black Jumpsuit from Shop the Modern Wove. This guy will be the perfect transition piece between summer and fall. Right now, I’ve been wearing it with bralettes and flatform shoes (annnnd, sometimes my Birkenstocks but shh!). Come fall, I plan to wear it with a long sleeve tight white tee and my cute Anthropologie hair scarf. I’m envisioning this as something I’ll wear in Prague…but it will probably be way too cold (lol rip to me). Maybe I’ll make an updated post wearing this for fall?
