Daycation Coffee
Location: 2525 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713
Daycation Coffee is the perfect place to brighten your day with its cheerful, colorful vibe. Known for their Instagrammable lattes and cozy cafe, this café is a go-to for locals looking to unwind. Don’t miss their seasonal favorites, like the Cozy Cabin latte or classics like their Morning Forest latte made with ceremonial-grade matcha imported from Kyoto, Japan, housemade jasmine syrup, and topped with a single shot of Daycation Blend espresso. Whether you’re meeting a friend or just need a quiet spot to work, Daycation Coffee offers a laid-back atmosphere with amazing drinks to match.
Note: This is a small space with limited seating. There is a bar with 3 seats and a cozy sitting area where you and a friend can catch up. Outside there is one table, but it is small and right next to MLK. If you’re looking for a coffee shop to post up for hours, this isn’t it — you’ll way to stop in and be mindful of how long you are there if you do sit.
Intermezzo Coffee & Cocktails
Location: 1111 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33705
Intermezzo is a trendy spot that offers a dual experience: coffee by day and cocktails by night. Their clean, modern aesthetic and ample seating make it an ideal spot for catching up with friends or working remotely. Don’t miss their seasonal gingerbread latte or their refreshing cold brew on a warm day.
Plus, they just introduced their sister concept, Bar Mezzo, another unique spot in St. Pete. It is currently decorated for the holidays as part of their Miracle at Mezzo tradition. Highly recommend visiting as part of your St. Pete Holiday Bucket List.
Patrona Coastal Café
Location: 2430 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33712
Looking for something a little different? Check out Patrona Coastal Café, a charming coffee spot with a coastal influence. Known for their beachy-inspired coffee drinks, like the Coconut Latte and the Strawberry Matcha, this café offers delicious flavors and a unique vibe. Pair your drink with one of their house-made pastries or savory breakfast tacos for a truly delicious experience.
Café Clementine
Location: 2913 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713
For a cozy café nestled within the Museum of Fine Arts, Café Clementine is a must-visit. Their classic coffee offerings are elevated by simple yet thoughtful touches, like house-made syrups and locally roasted beans. Pair your drink with one of their signature breakfast sandwiches (an absolute fave of mine!) or a flaky croissant for the ultimate café experience. It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or catch up with a friend over a latte. They had a blueberry cobbler chai over the summer and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Definitely one of the more unique coffee spots in St. Pete.
Pete’s Bagels
Location: 475 7th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
Pete’s Bagels is a fan favorite in St. Pete—not just for their bagels but also for their coffee. This spot is bustling with energy in the mornings as locals line up for their freshly baked bagels and perfectly brewed coffee. Whether you go for a classic drip or an iced latte, the coffee at Pete’s is always on point. My go–to? the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese.
Driftwood Kava & Coffee
Location: 740 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
Driftwood Kava & Coffee combines the best of traditional coffee with island-inspired vibes. While their rich nitro cold brew is a go-to for caffeine lovers, Driftwood also serves kava and kombucha for those looking to branch out. My favorite aspect of Driftwood is the unique flavors they have — like cinnamon bun, gingerbread, white mocha, or peanut butter. With its cozy outdoor patio and laid-back atmosphere, this downtown spot is perfect for a chill morning or a quick pick-me-up during your day.
