If you haven’t checked out my Most Instagrammable Murals in St. Pete Part One and Two, you definitely should. Today, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite photoshoot locations in the downtown St. Pete area.
Keep on reading to discover some of my favorite spots around town!
Stationhouse
Stationhouse St. Pete is local gathering spot “dedicated to providing a comfortable, yet dynamic environment in which our guests can interact socially or professionally, work or co-work quietly, enjoy food, drinks and entertainment, and relax peacefully.” The building dates back to 1911 – pretty crazy! I love the white brick exterior for a photoshoot backdrop. I have been dying to explore the inside – I’ve heard amazing things about it! I have been to the restaurant Ichicoro Ane and it is one of my favorite spots in town for food – especially ramen bowls and fancy cocktails! I’d love to explore inside the building more to see other local spots like TeBella, Kahwa, and even try out the rooftop yoga!
Green Bench Brewing
I won’t lie – most of my favorite “photoshoot spots” are just some of my favorite spots to hang out at around town! Green Bench definitely tops the list – they have an awesome outdoor courtyard/beer garden that is a hoppin’ spot most weekends. I love going to this area and shopping at the Indie Flea (a gathering for all things “artisanal and handmade goods, plants, vintage collectors, jewelry and hand crafts, gifts, art and more”) when it’s open! Of course, it does make for a great photoshoot spot with the ivy-clad walls and brick exterior! One of my favorite new additions to the “Green Bench Area” and beer garden is Webb’s City Cellar. I love that they focus on ciders and even offer some wine options – good if the typical IPA or a lager isn’t your thing.
Baum Avenue Market
Baum is a close neighbor to Green Bench – hint: you can hit both photo spots very easily in one stop! I will often bring a change of clothes and shoot at both locations. I usually shoot photos in courtyard, but the inside of the market is one of the most aesthetically pleasing spots in St. Pete.
Baum is home to one of my favorite spots for vegan baked goodies – Vahalla Bakery. They also have a super cute plant wall and a bar that has amazing cocktails! We even had our work Christmas party here – it was awesome! Next to Baum is Intermezzo, one of my favorite spots for coffee and cocktails. At Christmas-time, the cafe transforms into a winter wonderland, offering fun drinks like the “Rum Rum Rudolph” – fingers crossed we get to do this again this year! Anyway, you can’t go wrong in this spot – it truly is like an Instagram playground!
Museum of Fine Arts
The Museum of Fine Arts is a gorgeous spot in Downtown St. Petersburg. Home to an incredible art collection, the MFA is a well-known spot in DTSP. This building has a stunning exterior, perfect for photoshoots – and often, a chosen location for weddings and local events! If you catch the building during golden hour light, it is absolutely gorgeous.
If you are looking for some great photoshoot locations in St. Pete, I highly suggest the above or checking out my murals posts! I love my Sunshine City and I hope you will enjoy your visit. Or, if you’re local, keep the spots saved for the next time you want to take some pics! What are some of your favorite spots around town? Let me know!
