The Best Health and Fitness Gifts for Her 2020 Edition: 12 Days of Gift Guides

This year has been the year of the at-home workout. I’ve been stocking up on all kinds of fitness-related items lately. My goal has been to make sure I have what I need to live a healthy lifestyle while staying home. Are you shopping for someone who enjoys a good workout? Checkout these fitness gifts!

Dumbbells ($5.49 each)

Dumbbells are the easiest and most inexpensive way to create a gym-like experience at home! I personally use dumbbells every day for my workouts. I opt for the 3 lbs for Peloton arm workouts on the bike, and switch between 5s and 8s for floor workouts.

Target’s All In Motion dumbbells have quickly become a favorite of mine. Just remember to order 2 – I accidentally made the mistake of ordering just one through order pickup and getting it home before I realized (face palm…).

Lululemon Define Jacket ($118)

I’ve owned a Lululemon Define jacket for years and recently decided to grab another color since my first one has gotten so much wear! I love both and wear them interchangeably on cooler days. The jacket comes in many sizes and colors – I personally own black and a hot pink!

Yoga Mat ($23.99)

fitness gifts

My yoga mat has changed the game for my at-home workout experience. I love that I can pull it out to do floor strength workouts, but also roll it up and take on-the-go with me to poolside yoga. When I worked in the office, I kept a yoga mat at my desk for our company-sponsored yoga classes.

As you can see, yoga mats are a great versatile option for anyone who loves fitness! This one comes highly rated. The mat has a nice thickness to it to make sure your wrists and knees will be protected. One of the best fitness gifts you can give!

Resistance Bands ($15.99)

fitness gifts

Resistance bands are another great option for at-home fitness! I love that I can use mine at-home but also on-the-go. I’ll often tuck one away in my suitcase when traveling to make sure I can sneak in some mini workouts. These little guys might look cute, but they are super powerful! Perfect stocking stuffer option for anyone on your list who enjoys a good workout.

Adidas Edge Lux Running Shoe ($66)

My Adidas running shoes were my go-to. That is, before Winston decided they were his favorite and chewed them to shreds. Santa, if you’re listening, I’d love a new pair 😉

You can’t go wrong with these Adidas kicks for any gal on your list!

Apple Watch SE ($309)

fitness gifts

I actually cannot imagine my fitness routine without my Apple Watch. My watch physically motivates me to workout every day because I’m crazy about closing my rings and hitting goals!

Best (or worst) part is, the watch constantly reminds you to get your $@^$ together if you aren’t up to your usual standards of working out. This can be super annoying when you’re just wanting a lazy day on the couch, but incredibly motivating when you need to to get a workout in.

I could go on and on about why I love the watch. One of my favorite things is that I can view my texts discreetly when I’m in a meeting or having dinner with a friend. I find it keeps me off my phone as I can see any important notifications as they come in.

Highly recommend the Apple Watch as a gift option. I know it is a bit pricier but it is something they will use every single day! If you are looking for a more inexpensive option, check out the Series 3 for $179 (I have this one & it works great!)

Lululemon Fly Away Taming Headband ($12)

I swear by my Lululemon headbands for working out. I strongly prefer to limit hair washing to once or twice a week. This headband has been instrumental in that process as it easily wicks sweat and keeps your flyaways at bay. Tons of cute colors, makes a great stocking stuffer!

Hydroflask 32 Ounces ($44.95)

fitness gifts

The Hydroflask is one of my favorite gifts to give! Since owning mine, I drink an exorbitant amount of water so easily. It’s great for workouts, beach trips, days at the office, or pretty much any other occasion you can think of. I paired mine with the straw lid ($9.95) and haven’t looked back ever since. In fact, I’ve purchased two for myself so I can have different color options! One of the best fitness gifts out there.

Airpods Pro ($199)

fitness gifts

My AirPods Pro are one of my absolute favorite gifts I’ve received for Christmas (and, definitely my most used!) There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t use my Airpods, whether I’m on work calls (#zoomlife), working out on the Peloton, or just watching Youtube videos on my phone. The noise cancelling option is a game-changer, especially for me when I need to focus while I’m working! A great fitness gift option for anyone on your list.

AirPods Case ($5.99)

Don’t forget to pick up a cute case for the Airpods! I have this one and absolutely love it. Can’t beat the price for $5.99.

Peloton (starts at $1,895)

While I know the Peloton is not within everyone’s price range, it can be a great option for a family or those looking to invest in their health long-term.

My Peloton has BY FAR been my best purchase of 2020. With so many of us working out at home, the Peloton really is a great option for a safe, yet effective at-home workout. I personally have not felt comfortable returning to fitness classes or the gym so the Peloton was the perfect solution for my family. Better yet, my boyfriend and mom also use mine, so in my opinion, I am getting my money’s worth. You can use my code: VDGFNV at checkout for $100 off your Peloton!

I opted for the standard Peloton bike. The delivery was much faster than with the Bike+ option. For me, the added features of the Bike+ didn’t seem worth it for the extra $$$. I already owned some cycling shoes (you’ll want to find a pair with delta clips) and dumbbells, so this package made sense to me. You can bundle it with some of the other fitness gifts on this list for the perfect all-inclusive home-gym experience.

Why it’s more affordable than you might think

Right now, Peloton is offering 0% APR for 39 months – seemed like a no-brainer to me. My bike is $49/month for 39 months at 0% APR.

One thing to note – the Peloton subscription ($39/month) is not included, but is necessary for use of the bike. In my opinion, this is well-worth it. The membership includes daily cycling classes (and tons on demand), yoga, meditation, barre, strength, running, walking, stretching, and more!

I was once paying $100 a month for unlimited fitness classes at a local boutique studio, so paying $88 a month was actually cheaper for me. Soon enough, I’ll own the bike too, so I’ll only pay for the monthly membership at just $39. If I ever get tired of the bike, I can always sell it, too, which obviously isn’t an option with studio fitness classes or a gym membership. However, I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED and can’t imagine life without mine.
