We got back from Colorado a few weeks ago and wanted to share some our favorite spots that we visited in Denver! We were staying in Broomfield with family, about 15 minutes from Boulder and 20 from Denver. I loved that we were able to get a taste of both cities while there for about a week. I know we will be back soon as we visit pretty frequently! Next time we are there, Iโll update this guide and share a few more places we enjoyed! Letโs jump in to my Denver, Colorado travel guide!
Dairy Block
Within the Dairy Block, there are tons of great dining, beverage, and shopping options. I’ll share a few that I enjoyed below.
Milk Market
While at the Dairy Block, we stopped into the Milk Market for a cup of coffee. They had all kinds of crazy coffee drinks like S’mores and Cinnamon Bun. I went with a simple cold brew (with just a pump of hazelnut) & tried a few donuts!ย Everything was fantastic – especially the cinnamon sugar donut.
Milk Market is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat in Denver because there is truly something for everyone! Plus, it is just a cool spot to go.ย

BรH
While we did not get to stop for a drink at BรH, I have it on my list to visit next time! I did snap a few pictures here because they had a gorgeous floral arrangement. The food and drinks look incredible – they specialize in tacos and mezcal. here was another restaurant near the coffee shop at the Milk Market that had a gorgeous floral arrangement.

Shopping in the Dairy Block
Nearby there were lots of fun shops we popped into. My favorite was a DIY dried floral bouquet counter called Pickleton Flower Co. ย A few other notable spots were:
Larimer Square
Larimer Square is a neat little area of downtown Denver. In Larimer Square, youโll find lots of fun vintage shops, yummy bites, and cool cocktails! One place (Garage Sale Vintage Shop) even had margarita pouches TO-GO! So fun!
I really enjoyed the Garage Sale Vintage Shop and the disco record store across the street, Larimer Records Cafรฉ.ย
Location: 1530 16th Street, 3rd Floor, Denver Colorado 80202
Union Station
We decided at the last-minute to pop into Union Station and it did not disappoint! Union Station is over 100 years old and a true historic gem of the city featuring food + drink, shopping, and even a hotel! We gave the Next Door Eatery a try and it was delicious! I had a grilled cheese & tomato soup along with some happy hour apps and drinks! PRO TIP: Go during Happy Hour! It runs daily from 2:30 p.m. โ 5:30 p.m. + all day Wednesday.
Location: 1701 Wynkoop Denver, CO 80202
Rapids Soccer Game
My boyfriend Connor loves soccer so we decided to go to a Rapids game! My expectations werenโt too high, but I had so much fun! The stadium was really nice and every seat was a good one. 10/10 recommend – especially if you’ve got a soccer lover on your hands!
Location: Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, 6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, CO 80022
Bonus: A Fun Day Trip โ Estes Park
If youโre looking for a fun day trip a close to Boulder, try visiting Estes Park! It was a quick 45 minute drive โ prepare yourself for winding mountain roads. While we were there, we visited the Stanley Hotel. The Stanley is a historic hotel that inspired The Shining. The hotel is absolutely stunning and it is fun to experience the โspookyโ vibe. We had an incredible meal at the hotelโs restaurant, Cascades. Cascades is an upscale restaurant with gorgeous views! We loved the margarita queso, the truffle and tagliatelle pasta, sesame encrusted trout, and truffle fries.
We also enjoyed walking around the cute little downtown in Estes Park. There are lots of gift shops if that is your thing and yummy candy stores. I had a delicious caramel apple!
Thatโs a wrap! Hope you enjoy your trip to Denver, Colorado! Let me know what your favorite spots in Denver are in the comments below. Visiting Boulder while you’re in Colorado? Check out my Boulder travel guide here!
