Hey there aspiring blogger or content creator! Today, I wanted to round up some of my most used blogging essentials. These are all items I use almost every day for my work as a blogger and content creator. Let’s dive in!
Ring Light ($32)
My ring light is one of my most used items! I love that it is portable and easy to use. Mine is adjustable and has three color tones. It comes in handy whether I am taking photos on my camera or just casual Instagram stories.
My Camera ($597)
This item is obviously much more of a splurge, but my content has LEVELED UP since making the purchase. I highly recommend this camera to anyone looking to do the same! It is easy to use and I love that it is small enough to fit in my purse.
Apple Lightning to SD Card Reader ($24.95)
This is probably my favorite item on this list! I don’t typically edit my photos on a computer, and strongly prefer to do so on my phone. This little gadget makes it so easy! I download the raw files onto my phone using this tool and import straight to Lightroom. It’s that easy!
Blue Light Glasses ($75)
Blue light glasses have been one of my biggest blogging essentials this year. Since I work from home 9-to-5, I’m often on my computer all day, and then I switch over to my phone or laptop to work on my blog and Instagram. The strain on my eyes would be crazy without these glasses! There are tons of great options out there! I’ve found a cheaper alternative ($15) here if you want to try them out before making the investment!
Full Length Mirror ($149)
Where would I be without my full length mirror? I often take this item for granted as it is part of my home decor, but it is absolutely a blogging essential. When I film stories for boutiques or OOTD pics, I always use my full length mirror!
Tripod + Bluetooth Remote ($27.99)
A tripod is a great item to add to your list of blogging essentials! No need for an Instagram husband, that’s all you girl! Take your own photos with ease with this tripod. I like that this one comes with a bluetooth remote to make the photography even easier!
Day Designer Daily/Monthly Planner ($19.99)
I have been using the Day Designer planners for years. The daily/monthly layout is my favorite, with a page for each day’s schedule and to-dos, but also a monthly calendar spread to plan out my content. I discuss my planning process more in this post, but highly recommend the Day Designer for all of your planning needs, if you prefer paper-to-pen over digital like me!
PaperMate Flair Pens ($15)
And, of course, we can’t forget the pens! These are truly the only pens I’ll use in my Day Designer. Catch me with at least three of these with me at all times!
MacBook Air ($999)
Another splurge item, but this is my personal computer of choice – MacBook Air in the gold color. I purchased it this year as my old Mac was slowing down a bit. I swear by my MacBook Air and love using it for the blog!
