Taking photos in public can be a little awkward. I struggled for the longest time, worrying about what people might think if they saw me taking photos in public. There are quite a few ways I’ve learned to feel a bit more comfortable in front of the camera. Here are some tips to help you feel more comfortable taking photos in public:
โฃ
Shoot with a pal – Youโll feel way more comfortable if youโve got a friend behind the camera to make you laugh and make sure youโre looking your best.
โฃ
Grab a prop – Here Iโm using a fun bag so i have something to do with my hands.
โฃ
Scout locations ahead of time & know the best spots to go
โฃ
Know that no one cares. I promise. I donโt even say that to be mean but even if someone sees you and thinks โoh thatโs weirdโ – they wonโt be thinking about it 30 seconds later.
โฃ
Research some poses and keep them โฃhandy in a folder in your photos – reference them quickly while shooting. โฃ

I hope these tips help you to feel more comfortable shooting photos in public.
