Welcome to gift guide season! It’s never too early to start shopping 😉 I often find it really easy to buy gifts for my mom, friends, and all the ladies in my life. I think this is because I enjoy buying items I know I would personally like.
Men are a little tougher. Each year, I struggle with what to buy as gifts for the men in my life. That is why, today, I’ve rounded up a list of guy-approved gift items for any man in your life – whether it is your uncle, your brother, your boyfriend, or your dad (don’t worry, I will also have a dad-specific gift guide coming up soon!)
I didn’t do this alone – I pulled in some helpers (aka my boyfriend and dad) to make sure these gifts were MAN APPROVED! So read on with confidence that two men have approved the items on this list.
Let’s get started!
Herschel Supply Co. Duffel Bag ($90)
This bag is the first one my boyfriend reaches for when we travel! It is roomy, durable, stylish, AND has an exterior zip shoe compartment to protect his clothing from dirt and grime.
Leather Dopp Kit ($29)
This leather dopp kit brings sleek style and organizational convenience to your guy’s life! Everyone needs a nice travel toiletry bag in their life.
Always Pan ($145)
I’ve heard such great things about this pan. I like that it comes in multiple colors and serves a multipurpose function – nonstick fry and sauté pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, spatula and spoon rest all-in-one. You could pair this with a meal-kit subscription like HelloFresh or GreenChef for a creative, interactive gift!
Patagonia Better Sweater Quarter Zip ($119)
This gift is a classic and remains on my gift guides every single year because it is just that GOOD! If your man doesn’t have one, I highly recommend picking this up. This sweater is great as outerwear or as a layering piece in winter!
Madewell Leather Card Case ($24.50)
I’m pretty sure both my boyfriend and my dad use this exact wallet. It looks sleek, comes at a nice price point, and can even be customized with their initials!
Nordstrom Bliss Throw ($39.50)
If I had to pick one gift to recommend for ANYONE ON YOUR LIST this holiday season, it would be the Nordstrom Bliss blanket. Comes in a ton of colors, is a good price point, nice quality, and SO SOFT! If I’m being honest, I prefer it to the Barefoot Dreams blankets. We have so many of these blankets between my mom and me. Even Winston (my dog!) has his own (SPOILED I KNOW!)
UGG Ascot Slipper ($95)
Treat your man to something he would never buy for himself – SLIPPERS! These are so cozy and look nice. I bet he could even get away with wearing them around when walking the dog or taking out the trash when it’s cold out. I like these because they have a back, come in a ton of colors, and have lots of sizes in stock.
Hanging Toiletry Bag ($14.99)
This hanging toiletry bag features a foldable design with an attached metal hanging hook, making it great for on-the-go use. I actually got this for Connor last year and he uses it ALL THE TIME!
Birddogs Pants ($95)
Birddogs pants have been a long-time fan favorite around here! Seriously, Connor every color because he loves them so much. Totally recommend these for an awesome pant your guy can wear from the office to happy hour!
Zella Men’s Hoodie ($59)
My mom got this hoodie for Connor last year for Christmas and ever since, it has been a favorite of both of ours! So cozy but still lightweight enough. This one goes on sale often – keep an eye on it!
JBL Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker ($79.95)
This JBL Speaker is waterproof and easily connects with Bluetooth! I purchased this for Connor a few years back and we use it all the time. It’s the gift that keeps on giving – he will love it, and so will you!
Blue Light Glasses ($95)
Since we are all looking at screens ALL the TIME, blue light glasses can be a great gift option for anyone on your list. Especially if your guys is anything like mine and his friends – either studying, reading online textbooks, and completing online assignments; scrolling TikTok; working a 9-to-5 with multiple screens; or playing video games! This pair is sure to flatter any face! Looking for a more inexpensive option? Try these from Amazon for $25!
Ice Cube Trays – Cubes and Spheres ($16.99)
This one has my personal seal of approval. Connor picked up a set of square ice molds to use to make old fashioned’s at home. He has also tried out the whiskey stone “ice cubes” and strongly preferred the ice trays! I like the square ice cubes because I will sometimes add them in to my iced coffee in the morning. These trays are versatile and can be used for lots of different types of drinks!
Rainbow Sandals ($53.95)
Since we’re in Florida, most of the men in my life live in flip flops. These are boyfriend-approved as the perfect shoes for beach trips, walking Winston around the block, or just stepping outside for a minute. Highly recommend if you’ve got a fun trip to a tropical destination coming up!
Bombas 3-Pack Cushion No-Show Socks ($33)
A great stocking stuffer or gift option! My boyfriend loves his no-show socks to wear with loafers or sneakers. These Bombas socks are highly-rated as a great option!
TUSHY Bidet ($79)
I know you guys are probably thinking a bidet is an odd gift, but this one is VERY MUCH MAN-APPROVED by all the guys in my life. It’s easy to set up and looks sleek in their bathroom! Trust me, he’s going to love this one…even if you think it is weird.
Cole Haan Oxfords ($125)
The classic oxford but redesigned – perfect option if your guy dresses business casual often. These shoes combine style AND comfort!
