What is Lemon8 and why should I be using it as a content creator? Lemon8 is a social media platform that aims to offer a refreshing and more authentic outlet for content creators — often described as if Instagram, Canva, and Pinterest had a baby.
According to ZDNET, over the last month, TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, has been pushing its Instagram-like app to US social media scrollers. Lemon8 is a video and photo-sharing social media platform catering to users’ interest in food, beauty, wellness, and travel.
I KNOW, another platform to take our time and start creating on… but let’s explore some of the positives of this new platform.

Let your creativity shine with Lemon8! This app brings back a lot of what we liked about Instagram in the early days. Lemon8 gives us a chance to be creative and showcase fun content, without the pretense and inauthenticity we’re seeing a lot of these days. Using this platform is actually so fun! The posts are visually appealing and just enjoyable to view, more like Pinterest.
